*Christmas Eve fun*

Natalia was so much fun visiting Santa. When she first sat down on his lap she was just looking up at him oh so sweet. It was cute! My friends and I had met at the mall the day before with our babies to visit with Santa but at the time after we all ate lunch together, the line to see Santa was way too long. But it turned out pretty good anyway since it was Christmas Eve when Frank & I went back and now he got to be in the picture too : ) After the mall, Nataila and daddy took a nap while I baked, cleaned up a little & then caught the last few minutes of nap time as well. Daddy had just gotten off of a 30 hour over night shift that morning so I was very excited when he came home and said he did get to sleep for a few hours and felt up to going to the mall : ) After the mall and nap time we went to our friends Chris & Elizabeth's house for dinner and watched the movie, "Elf". We had a great time!! Frank is working this year on Christmas but he's off by noon. Then he has 5 days off for New Years and both our families will be coming to visit. Mine first and then Franks. So we will have lots of hugs & kisses for Natalia in the new couple of weeks!!! And maybe even a date night for mommy and daddy since we will have the perfect babysitters with us! Hehe. Also, since Frank's working until noon on Christmas, we'll open gifts in the afternoon instead of the morning. But I don't mind since Natalia wakes up around 6am each day, eats and then goes right back to sleep until 9:30am sometimes even 10am!!! She sleeps like a teenager, it's so funny. But it gives me plenty of time in the mornings and for Christmas it will be perfect since I will get things ready for the day. I will of course miss my own mommy & daddy since we usually all open presents together with my sister and my brother. It's funny because each year growing up it was always, "Ok, let's start with the oldest (my sister) or let's start with the youngest (my brother)". They never started with ME, since I was the middle. But we joke about it now. Frank says at least I was never last. I guess? Hehe.

*Christmas Parties*

Natalia's is 6 months old now! I can't believe it. She is almost crawling and she is still just smiling all day long. She is my sweet little buddy that I get to take along where ever I go, she always listens to everything I have to say and never seems to get bored of me. Hehe. And she always returns my smile. Actually all I have to do is look at her and she smiles. It melts my heart everytime. I just love her so much I miss her when she is sleeping. We have so much fun playing together and daddy always sings to her. She has also been having a great time at all the Christmas parties we've been going to. These pictures are from the cookie exchange with the girls from Discovery (our church here) and we also went to a Christmas party for our small group and one with Frank's work as well. It's been fun! Also, our church has provided Christmas gifts for 10 families in need. Our small group took on one family with an kids ages 18, 13, 10 & 3. (Older siblings are girls and the two younger are boys). The family had a wish list and for example, a TV for the family if possible, the mom asked for pots and pans, the dad needed tools and the little boy asked for a power ranger toy. Well lets just say, this family got the TV, tools and the little boy got the power ranger toys to say the least! We delivered THREE cars full of gifts to their house. We had all their sizes as well so we were able to bless them with clothing too. And the best part, Frank and Chris got to deliver the gifts themselves and meet them and see their faces when they saw all the gifts. They said it was amazing. God is so amazing for using us to reach out to them. I just pray that they see and feel God's love through all this. I hope they don't say how great "we" are for bringing them gifts but rather how great "God" is for bringing them the gifts. He only used us to help him out in getting them there. It feels so good to give!! "It is more blessed to give then to receive" Acts 20:35

The Poem

I knelt to pray but not for long.
I had too much to do.
I had to hurry and get to work
For bills would soon be due.
So I knelt and said a hurried prayer,
And jumped up off my knees.
My Christian duty was now done
My soul could rest at ease.
All day long I had no time
To spread a word of cheer.
No time to speak of Christ to friends,
They'd laugh at me I'd fear.
No time, no time, too much to do,
That was my constant cry,
No time to give to souls in need
But at last the time, the time to die.
I went before the Lord,
I came, I stood with downcast eyes.
For in his hands God held a book,
It was the book of life.
God looked into his book and said
"Your name I cannot find,
I once was going to write it down...
But never found the time."
