Spending time with Mom when Frank was away...

Wow! What can I say...not only did I have a *great* time with my mom this week but she also helped me with a million things while Frank was away. Especially since I have really bad tendinitis in both hands right now, I couldn't have be more thankful to have her here...

Since I always take my splints off for pictures, I figured I'd show you what my hands really look like...

As you can see from the picture, I'm in little Natalia's room!! Not only did my mom help organize the babies room but she also cooked delicious meals, stocked up on things for us for when the baby comes, washed our dogs, shampooed our rugs, fixed our screen door, etc. What a great help this was since Natalia will be here very soon!! Plus, this gave me a chance to relax and ice my hands so they can get better.

While that was going on at home, Frank and some colleagues were presenting their critical care research in San Diego at the American Thoractic Society Conference (ATS) as you can see below...
Enjoying views like this while he ate lunch...

All the while my mom and I were home doing girl things and finishing the last details of Natalia's bedroom...
And while I was having so much fun hanging out with my mom, I thought about Frank & how I was so proud of him that he got to present his research at the Conference (and I know he enjoyed some time with his friends as well)...
So although he had a great time while in San Diego...

And even saw some seals just hanging out...

And saved his friend from almost falling off a cliff...(((Smile)))
He did say he wished I could have been there...
And he thought about me a lot : )

Of course when he came home, I was so happy to see him... And was excited for him to see the babies room all finished (especially since he & the guys put the furniture together prior too)...

And finally, Frank & I just wanted to give a BIG thanks to my Mom & Dad for purchasing all the baby furniture for us, it was a huge blessing and Natalia's room looks beautiful! We couldn't have done it without you. Thanks mom & dad!

~Belly Pictures~

One of my friends from church, Jennifer Kent, is not only a great friend but is also an amazing photographer. She offered to take maternity pictures for me and I'm so thankful that she did! These pictures were taken while I was exactly 8 months pregnant at a local park here in our town. Thank you Jennifer for such beautiful memories we can cherish forever! P.S. The red fan featured in some of the pictures is the one that my bridesmaids used at our wedding and the ivory fan in some of the other pictures was one of the fans that I used on our wedding day. *Also, thank you for all the sweet comments everyone wrote on facebook about these pictures ; )
