Baby Update...

As some of you know, at my last ultra sound the Doctor told me my placenta was very low. In fact, they said if it stayed that way I would have to have a scheduled c-section!

Well, we just had another ultra sound and it turns out my placenta has *completely* corrected itself and is in the perfect position. Everything looks great and I am headed for a risk-free natural birth! We are very excited and blessed to hear such wonderful news!

So as of right now...I am going on my 28th week and the baby is 2 pounds 5 ounces. Which makes little Natalia in the 64th percentile weight wise (50th is average). The doctor said if I go full term she should be about 7 1/2 to 8 pounds! Although I can't seem to go one day without someone telling me how "big" I am so I don't know~ maybe she'll be even bigger. Also, Natalia has already turned and is faced down ready to go (which is *great*). Everything seems so close, yet so far away. We're so excited!

And the guest speaker is...

Today was such an awesome day. Frank had the opportunity to be a guest speaker at our church. The topic included this very important question: Who is Jesus? Was he a liar, was he just insane or...was what he was saying true?? I have posted the link for those of you that were not there today so you too can listen to the message as well. Click here to watch it:

Below the pictures, I have also posted all of the quotes from his message today incase you wanted a copy of them...

Some of our church band members practicing prior to performing : )

Quotes from Franks message:

Tim Lahoye:
“Almost everyone who has heard of Jesus has developed an opinion of him and that is to be expected because not only is he the most famous figure in world history but also the most controversial”.

HG Wells:

“I am a historian not a believer but I must confess as a historian that this penniless preacher from Nazareth is irrevocably the very center of history”.

On the lips of anyone else the claims of Jesus would appear to be evidence of gross egomania for Jesus clearly implies that the entire world revolves around him and the future of all men are depended on their acceptance or rejection of him.

CS Lewis:
“That either his claims were false- making him a liar or maybe made these claims but he was out of his mind- making him a lunatic, or Jesus is Lord”.

Peter Kreeft, Ph.D., a professor of philosophy at Boston College:
“A measure of your insanity is the size of the gap between what you think you are and what you really are”.

Psychiatrist J. T. Fisher states:
"If you were to take the sum total of all authoritative articles ever written by the most qualified of psychologists and psychiatrists on the subject of mental hygiene -- if you were to combine them and refine them, and cleave out the excess verbiage -- if you were to take the whole of the meat and none of the parsley, and if you were to have these unadulterated bits of pure scientific knowledge concisely expressed by the most capable of living poets, you would have an awkward and incomplete summation of the Sermon on the Mount.

"And it would suffer immeasurably through comparison. For nearly 2,000 years the Christian world has been holding in its hands the complete answer to its restless and fruitless yearnings. Here ... rests the blueprint for successful human life with optimism, mental health, and contentment."

William Borderwolf:
“A man who can read the New Testament and not see that Christ claims to be more than a man can look all over the sky at high noon on a cloudless day and not see the sun”.

CS Lewis:
"I am trying here to prevent anyone saying the really foolish thing that people often say about Him: 'I'm ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I don't accept His claim to be God.'
"That is the one thing we must not say. A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher.”

"He would either be a lunatic -- on a level with the man who says he is a poached egg -- or else he would be the Devil of Hell. You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the son of God: or else a madman or something worse."

Then Lewis adds:

"You can shut Him up for a fool, you can spit at Him and kill Him as a demon; or you can fall at His feet and call Him Lord and God. But let us not come up with any patronizing nonsense about His being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intend to."
